Citizenship Clinics

In partnership with local community organizations, Advancing Justice – LA hosts free citizenship application workshops where our staff and volunteers help verify eligibility for citizenship, complete the citizenship application, and prepare a fee waiver request for individuals who qualify. We offer similar services at our downtown Los Angeles office for those who cannot attend a workshop. In addition, we distribute USCIS-issued study materials to prepare applicants for the test and interview. In addition, Advancing Justice – LA trains community organizations throughout California and across the country to provide citizenship application services.
